Creating a color reference model

Read this chapter to learn how to create color reference models for the Ink and Paint department to use when painting drawings in a level. For more information about color reference models, refer to About palettes.

Assumptions

• This chapter assumes that you have already scanned in and image processed a drawing, and saved it as a color reference model:

• The scanning procedure is described in Scanning in color reference models.

• Follow the general procedure for image processing drawings in Processing the scanned images.

• You are familiar with the Ink and Paint process, as described in the Ink and Paint process

• You have started the InkPaint application and are familiar with the windows and tools of the InkPaint application, as described in Painting basics.
